Licia Lucas-Pfadt grew up in rural Pennsylvania, but has lived in SouthWest Montana for 25 years. Licia returned to Pennsylvania in early 2024. Inspired by nature and her surroundings, Licia is a multi-disciplinary artist, focusing on useful porcelain ceramic art. Having a life with several traumas, Licia likes to find joy in little things, hence her business name Little Joy Gallery. She explores emotions and feelings with form and color, hoping that her work evokes joy or peace in those using her ceramics.
Licia received her BFA in Ceramics and Fibers from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, graduating Magna cum Laude in 1998. Licia has been a professional studio artist and educator for over 25 years. Adding to her credits a Montana Artreprenuer Program in 2023.
